The sales office reopened December 5th. The island is starting to get busy again. Omar did delay us again and the target for the resort to open is now April 2009.

Well electricity finally on and I hope it stays on this time. Our sales office was wiped out as well as all the restaurants at Caravanserai. This will set us back at least a month or so for the new resort. This is what is left to our sales office

It is 6:30 AM and Sint Maarten is very cloudy and still. Just waiting now to see where Omar is going and how fast. I guess we will prepare for a storm since it looks like we will get some of it.

Just got back from a birthday party on The Celine to Happy Bay!! After all the rain over the last few weeks I finally got to notice how beautiful all the hills are a deep green on the island.With low season being the worst I have seen since I've lived here, it made me just look into the hills from the lagoon and I thought to myself, "It could be worsrt." I could be in Jersey!! LOL

It is 6:45 AM and the sun is shining! Another day in paradise here in St. Maarten. Low season is coming to an end. The Royal Islander re-opens after maintenence weeks which should bring more tourists into the Maho area. Anthony is taking karate at school now!! He has the girl thing down pat, now have to teach him some other skills for the future.Hey don't forget our last minute vacation rentals

It rained again yesterday in sint Maarten but today looks like a great day. Caravanserai sales is closed till next week so I am just chillin and relaxing during this low season. It was about 2 years ago I started this site to help pay for the education of this little man on my back. We were watching Carnival Parade on Front Street when this picture was taken. I did it as a hobby, not expecting much, but now it seems to really be catching on. Thankyou to all those at TTOL who really support us.
